NEPSE Starts ‘Mock Trading’ of Online Trading
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has started trial phase of online trading. The local bourse started the test though five selected brokerage companies. The five broker companies were selected by Stock Broker Association.
Murahari Parajuli, Spokesperson of NEPSE said that the stock exchange will take corrective action if any problem arises in the online system with coordination with the stock brokers.
According to NEPSE, a fake full-fledged share transaction will be carried out in the mock trading. The trading will be entered in the system as a real trading. The trading will be gradually increased so that to identify those areas which need improvement.
As per Stock Broker Association, a committee 'Online Implementation Coordination Committee' has been formed under Santosh Mainali. The committee selected five brokers companies including ABC Securities, Linch Stock Market, Malla and Malla Stock Broking, Secured Securities and Trishakti Securities for the mock trading.
